What are the planned activities for non-participants in P.E. Class?
Students who are exempt from participation in physical education class have several options to maintain their physical education requirement.
1) Be a referee or judge- officiate the activity or problem-solve any ongoing disputes that occur.
2) Read a book or complete their ongoing academic work. We will provide a space for them to work on during this P.E. class period but the student must stay with their PE class at all times.
3) Request a Physical Education project- This must be done ahead of time with the Physical Education teacher. This project will be written/ drawing work to fulfill their P.E. requirement during their exemption period.
4) School Administrators and/or classroom teacher may provide alternative project as needed.
